Cement Hands is a part of my ongoing study of Los Angeles and the people who are fascinated by it. This work started out as a study of body language and interaction with a famous Los Angeles landmarks, such as The Chinese Theater. The intention was to capture as little of the monument as possible while maintaining the individuality of each interaction.

There is a common thread within each interaction that goes far beyond body language. The city, film/tv history and the media all have an invisible yet present role within this series.
